Police in Yonkers have issued an alert for a wanted man living in the city who failed to register as a sex offender.

On Wednesday, the Yonkers Police Warrant Squad released an alert regarding 58-year-old Donald Tomlinson, whose last known address was on Western Avenue.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Tomlinson as a level two threat, which means he is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense." He is also designated as a sexually violent offender.

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Tomlinson had sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl in December 2004. He was convicted of third-degree sexual abuse by subjecting another person to non-non-consensual sex and forcible touching in March the following year. Tomlinson was sentenced to nine months in a local jail.

The Yonkers Police Department described Tomlinson as a 5-foot-7 man weighing approximately 200 pounds with a large build, brown eyes and no hair. Anyone with information regarding Tomlinson’s whereabouts, or who recognizes him has been asked to call the Yonkers Warrant Squad by calling (914) 377-7253.
